Celebrating International Womens Day 2022

Today BlueScope people across our business join in recognising International Women’s Day. This year’s theme is #BreakTheBias, working together towards a gender equal world free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. 

Across BlueScope we are making progress in building an inclusive workforce which reflects the diversity of our communities - recruitment of female employees remains above 30% in most of our businesses, the number of women in operator and trade roles has more than doubled over the last five years, and the percentage of female executives has almost doubled in the same period. 

We are proud of our achievements, and look forward to these positive trends continuing to improve.  Together let’s #BreakTheBias.
